Roda Ahmed was a regular columnist for the Nonvegian National newspaper, Dagsavisen and previously released her first children's book "Mac Among the Stars" in 2018 with Harper Collins.
Born in Hargaisa, Somalia and moved to Norway with her family and seven siblings. She graduated with a degree in Anthropology from the Norwegian University of Technology and Natural Sciences.
Her passion for telling the stories of unsung heroes and making sure they are accessible to ALL children is evident in her work. During her residency at The Colony, Roda worked on her upcoming children's book.
