Ernest Crosby III

Writer and filmmaker Ernest Crosby III, born in Houston, TX, began his filmmaking career with his first comedic short, 2007s 48hr film festival audience favorite award winning film, “StreetMeat.” In 2013, Ernest moved his talents to Los Angeles, where he currently works as a freelance writer and content creator, while continuing to pursue a career in film.

Since then he has produced, filmed, written, and worked on a plethora of film projects from a micro to big budget scale. In 2016, he wrote and directed a live-action and animated series for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. Leading to being commissioned in 2018 to, writing, producing and directing an editorialized digital video series for men’s lifestyle magazine, MEL Magazine, where he discussed issues from American racism to online dating. Ernest currently has a coming-of-age sports drama feature in development as well as consulting on a for television period action-drama.

Ernest has a passion for telling stories that invoke thought and, on the best day, even change.

He wants his style of writing, directing, and storytelling to be a catalyst to creative thought.
