Elexis Goodwin is a Writer/Director from Oakland, CA. Her work focuses mainly on character driven stories that explore themes of family, identity, and performance. With influences ranging from John Cassavetes to J Dilla, her work aims to create rich, recognizable worlds with authentic characters and experiences, told from her unique perspective. In 2017, she graduated from Loyola Marymount University School of Film & Television with a degree in Screenwriting and is currently completing her MFA in Directing.
