In Cliff’s early years he attended University of Santa Barbara on a basketball scholarship and focused most of his teen years playing sports. He quickly realized that wasn’t the route he wanted to take going forward.

Out of school Cliff booked a few guest star and commercial roles but focused more on putting pen to paper. While writing everyday, he started writing dialogue for cut scenes in music videos… that lead to writing interview questions in commercials, and ultimately to screenwriting. Cliff went on to be writing assistant to writer; Derek Jennings on ABC’s “Stumptown”. Then in 2021 he signed a 2 term shopping agreement with STX ENT for his Boxing pilot with Ken Whitingham set to direct. Cliff has been a writer for hire for about 5 years now, and has worked on a number of pilots ranging from punch ups —to development. And he is happy to share upon request!

Cliff has gone on to write and direct a series of commercials. He has worked with brands like Nike, Peloton, Apple, Mountain Dew, Pepsi etc… Cliff currently has a book published and coming out soon with SummerHousePublishing Co.
